about

Intricate pop songs for machines, voice & guitar -- created while living in an art castle in Warsaw.

"Warsaw Machines & Songs" features instruments and music created by Nick Yulman during a 2010 residency at the Center for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle Warsaw's A-I-R Laboratory. It combines digitally controlled mechanical instruments made from materials scavenged around the city with Yulman's guitar playing and singing.

"The Island is Gone" was originally created for the "Music for Toys 2" compilation on Monster K7 records.
